Children’s Church/Junior Church

Children’s Church is during our 11:00 service for ages 3 (must be potty trained) up to Kindergarten every Sunday. Children are dismissed before the sermon. Children will learn bible stories, play games, watch puppet skits, do crafts, and other fun activities related to the story.

We offer two Junior Church classes during our 11:00 service. Children are dismissed before the sermon. They meet on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of each month. They will stay in the adult worship service on the 1st Sunday of the month for Communion Sunday.

Our first class is for grades 1-3. It is held in the fellowship hall. They will learn bible stories, songs, and do other fun activities related to the bible story. They will also learn more about worship through singing with our Kids Worship leader once a month. On the 1st Sunday of the month, Communion Sunday, we will offer kids bulletins and they will stay in the adult worship service.

Our second class is for grades 4-5. It is held in the adult studies room. Our focus will be helping the student transfer from a Junior Church setting to the adult sermons. We will be working on skills such as note taking, listening, forming questions as they listen to a lesson or sermon. There will be fun activities to support this, and as always the basis for it all is for them to build a relationship with our Lord, Jesus Christ. On Communion Sunday, the students will stay in adult worship service and write notes in their journals.
