Our goal is to partner with parents to help kids know God through His word, serve His people and love their family and peers. We believe that children are able to learn from a young age and it is our aim to fill their minds with truth, through much creativity, love and prayer. We desire to build a solid foundation of both biblical knowledge and love for God in each child.
Nursery & Cry Room
We have a staffed nursery for ages 0 to 3 for both Sunday morning services. There is also a cry room available for moms to soothe their little ones or have a quiet place to nurse while still being able to see and listen to the service.
Our Sunday School classes are divided by grade level (pre-K; K/1st; 2nd/3rd; 4th/5th) and coincide with both worship services. While Sunday School is offered for the entirety of each service, parents have the option of bringing their children with them into the auditorium during the singing portion of the adult service if they want to worship together as a family; children will be dismissed to their classes before the message.
Our curriculum differs between the first and second service, so parents can attend Sunday School or volunteer for a ministry and still attend the worship service without their child repeating lessons.
4th and 5th grade Sunday School classes are currently on summer break and will resume this fall. Students may join their parents in the main worship service.
Worship Training is a program for 4th and 5th graders during our 10:45 am service. Our focus is to help these students make the transition to full participation in adult worship services. Students participate in the singing portion of the worship service either with their parents or with their teachers and then are dismissed to their class during the message.
During the classroom time, we use the same Bible passage and slides as the main message and help each student engage with the material at their own level by developing skills such as listening, reading scripture, learning vocabulary, taking notes, and applying God’s Word to their own lives. On Communion Sundays, holidays, or when there is a special speaker such as a missionary, Worship Training students will remain in the adult service.
Worship Training is currently on summer break and will resume this fall. Students may join their parents in the main worship service.
Children’s Choir is a vocal ensemble just for kids where they can develop their musical gifts in an uplifting, Christian context. During concert seasons, they rehearse on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 pm. Choir is currently on break, so please check back for our upcoming rehearsal and concert schedules.
