What to Expect
Our worship services are modern in style, with everything you'd expect to find at a 21st-century church: a full worship band, engaging multimedia, and tasteful stage design. However, the focus of our weekly time together as a church is based on three timeless principles: bring praise to God, hear his Word, and bond in fellowship. There will be a time to sing, a time to listen and a time to introduce yourself to the people sitting around you.
If you're wondering if you should wear a tie, no fear! All you'll find here are jeans, khakis, skirts, blouses, polos... modest and casual is what we're all about.
Between services, be sure to visit our Welcome Counter where you can pick up a welcome packet and ask any questions that you have about our church. Also be sure to grab a cookie and some coffee in the Portico, just across the foyer from the Welcome Counter!
VBC for Kids
The nursery is available during all three services for ages 0-3 years. We offer Sunday School for kids ages 3 years through 5th grade during the 9:30 and 11 am services. Before each service, be sure to check them in at the VBC Kids Check-In station located at the end of the hallway of the children's wing. Kids ages 3 and older will attend the singing portion of the worship service with their parents before being dismissed to Sunday School. If you are attending Adult Sunday School at 9:30, you have the option to drop off your kids at 9:30 for an informal introduction activity.

Adult Sunday School
Adult Sunday School classes meet during the 9:30 service in the north wing of the church (typically Room 130).

Youth Sunday School
Youth Sunday School classes meet during the 9:30 service in the south wing of the church during the school year (starting Sept. 10, 2023).
Middle School (6th-8th grade) meets in Room 150 (Fellowship Hall). High School (9th-12th grade) meets in Room 151.
Courageous Conquerors is a new Sunday School option during the 9:30 service in Room 152 for differently-abled students, including individuals who have challenges in reading and writing. This class is designed for students in 6th-12th grade who may benefit from a curriculum in between elementary and secondary school levels of learning. Courageous Conquerors will be flexibly tailored to the students in attendance, incorporating multiple learning styles as developmentally appropriate.
