Purpose Statement
Our mission is to partner with parents to help children know God through His Word, serve His people, and love their family and peers.
Pastor Caleb Klontz is the elder who oversees the VBC Kids ministry.
What To Expect on Sunday Morning:
Our Sunday School classes are divided by grade level (preschool through 5th grade) and coincide with the 9 and 10:45 am worship services. Nursery is provided for ages 0-3 years during both services.
• When you arrive:
- If this is your first time visiting, visit the Check-in Attendant in the Children's Wing foyer.
- If you are a regular attender, visit a self-check-in station and check in with your phone number or QR code.
• The nursery is in Room 122. The Children's Wing is in the North Hallway.
• Parents should plan to keep children with them in the auditorium for the entire service or check them in to Sunday School/nursery at the beginning of the service.
• When picking up your child after the worship service, please have your check-out code (either on your phone or a label) ready to show the check-in attendant and your child's teacher. See the Check-In Attendant if you lose your tag. Anyone without a check-out code will not be permitted to enter the Children's Wing for security reasons.
OUR CURRICULUM
Our Sunday School classes study the Old and New Testaments using curriculum from the Gospel Project and Answers in Genesis.
Children's Events
We offer a variety of events throughout the year for kids to build relationships with each other and to reach our community.
Vacation Bible School is planned for July 20-24, 2026, for ages 4 through 5th grade.
Mobile Check-in Instructions:
• If you are new and have not filled out a connection card with all your children’s names and birth dates, you will need to visit the Check-in Attendant before being able to use the Mobile Check-in. See attendant on Sunday.
• If you already have the Church Center App, be sure you are logged in, and then go to the bottom of the screen to Check-in. Here you will be able to choose the children you are checking in, what class they will be in, and which service you are checking into. You will then receive a QR code.
• Follow this link to watch the video that will give you a visual of how this process works. Check-in with the Church Center App
• If you do not have the Church Center App, download the Church Center app first.

• You will then need to choose our church, ValleyBible Church. Once you have chosen the correct church, you will need to enter your phone number (remember, this phone number already needs to be in our database for this to work). Once you do this it will text you a code that you will need to enter in. Then it will ask if the person associated with that phone number is you. Choose your name and then you will be able to log in and it should keep you logged in after this. Then follow the steps up above. If you are having trouble with this step you can visit the Check-in Attendant for further assistance to update your profile.
• When you arrive at church, use the Mobile Check-in station to scan your QR code and receive your child’s check-in labels. You will also receive your security check-out code on your mobile app.
