Paul’s Imperatives in 2 Timothy

As we come to the end of our study in 2 Timothy, it is a good time to look back at this short but rich letter. We called our series, "The VBC's" as a reminder that the foundational truths Paul is passing on to Timothy for the benefit of his church and ministry are just as foundational for our church and ministry.

As I went back through 2 Timothy (which I encourage you to do; it only takes about 15 minutes to read), I took note of all the commands that Paul had written to Timothy. There are over 30 of them in only 4 chapters! Even though the commands are numerous, they pile into a few themes that we will reflect on this Sunday - courage, truth, and holiness. For reflection this week, consider meditating on these themes using the guide below.

These will also be included in the bulletin this week, so be sure to look for it if you would like a paper copy. See you Sunday!
