Celebrate Easter at VBC!
Palm Sunday
Sunday, March 29 | 9 & 10:45 am
Palm Sunday falls on the Sunday before Easter. It commemorates Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem, an event mentioned in each of the four Gospels. Its name originates from the palm branches waved by the crowd to greet and honor Jesus as he entered the city.
Nursery and Sunday School for ages 3-5th grade offered during both services.
Holy Week
March 29-April 4
Easter is the high point of the church year. It is an opportunity to step back from some of our usual activities and reflect individually or as families on what our Savior has done for us. For this purpose, all regularly scheduled events at VBC will be paused during Holy Week (March 29-April 4). We hope this will give time for worship and rest.
To assist you in reflection and worship during this time, you can download a free daily devotional guide and an activity book for kids below.
An audiobook accompanies the kids' activity book, and is available to download here.
Good Friday
Friday, April 3 | 5 & 7 pm
This reflective service gives us the opportunity to remember Jesus Christ’s costly sacrifice by walking through the final hours of His life. From His final moments with His best friends at the Last Supper and the Garden of Gethsemane, to His baseless trial and execution, this service will help us all better understand and appreciate the price paid for the salvation of mankind.
Nursery provided for ages 0-3 years.
Resurrection Sunday
Sunday, April 5 | 9 & 10:45 am
Three days after Christ’s execution and burial, He was raised back to life, proving that He is eternally God in human form and sealing the promise that all who believe in Him will be given eternal life in relationship with God. Our Easter Sunday services give us the opportunity to celebrate the most important and amazing event in history through joyful worship, teaching, and fellowship. We hope you will join us as we remember and celebrate the greatest story ever told!
Nursery and Sunday School for ages 3-5th grade offered during both services.
