Holiness: The Heart God Purifies by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth
A 9-week study facilitated by Phyllis Morgan and Marlene Zeis.
First meeting date: Feb. 21.
Description: Why should we be holy? What difference does holiness make in our everyday lives? And what difference could a holy church make in an unholy world? With her compelling mix of profound biblical insight and personal example, Nancy shares a message that is a stirring challenge to choose the pathway of holiness so that our lives will radiate the splendor of our holy God.
Notes: This is a stand-alone study that is also the third book in a trilogy. You may purchase the single book Holiness or the trilogy Brokenness, Surrender, Holiness. If you purchase the trilogy, we recommend that you review Brokenness and Surrender prior to class (we did these as Spring and Fall 2023 studies).
Homework: Please read the Introduction of Holiness prior to our first class.

ABIDE: A Study of 1, 2, & 3 John
A 10-week Bible study facilitated by Julie Baker.
First meeting date: March 20.
Description: Join the women of VBC to learn from author and Bible teacher Jen Wilkin, in her newest Bible study and video teaching sessions titled ABIDE: A study of 1, 2, & 3 John. This 10-session, verse-by-verse study will help us discover the apostle John’s words that challenge us to recall our great salvation and abide in the truth. We will discover encouragement in the truth that God loves us, learn to discern the truth of God from a lie, and be challenged to remain steadfast in our faith.
